Not only does Fastweb offer a massive database of monetary awards, but it also features helpful career planning services and learning tools for its registered users. Peterson’s can help you identify potential schools by matching your needs with the institution that offers what’s important to you. The site also offers search features related to financial aid and scholarships! Campus Explorer is a free service that helps all types of students find the schools which best match their higher education needs. Chegg (formerly Zinch) is a college students one-stop-shop for scholarships that are creative, easy and fun to apply for and win. To apply for scholarships via Chegg, you’ll have to create a username and profile that will help the site find scholarships that are relevant to you! College & Scholarship offers online search tools for colleges, scholarships, and degree programs. Scholarships.com is a wonderful resource for college students who aspire to kill two birds with one stone—the site finds both scholarships and colleges that are perfect for you! It also allows you to pinpoint specific scholarships by your major, year in school and location, increasing your chances for receiving awards and saving you tons of time. Cappex let’s you set up an account to help narrow down your college search! Additionally, the site is still helpful during your undergrad years, offering ample scholarship opportunities and financial advice. bigfuture is the College Board's Scholarship Search! Find scholarships, other financial aid and internships from more than 2,200 programs, totaling nearly $6 billion. Enter as much information as possible to find the most matches. Scholarship info is based on the College Board's Annual Survey of Financial Aid Programs. Tuition Funding Sources offers a database of over 7 million scholarships, many of which are offered directly by colleges and universities. This is a great tool for narrowing down your college choice based on how much assistance a school can offer you. Starting in 2018, the scholarship will be awarded to 300 top student leaders each year with the intent of promoting their academic excellence through college graduation, and providing them the opportunity to reach their full potential. Deadline to apply is September of each year. QuestBridge College Match QuestBridge is a powerful platform that connects the nation's brightest students from low-income backgrounds with leading institutions of higher education and further opportunities. We are an aggregator of excellence. By facilitating these exchanges, QuestBridge aims to increase the percentage of talented low-income students attending the nation's best universities and the ranks of national leadership itself. The application opens each summer, and is due by the end of September each year. Posse Foundation Scholarship Posse’s four program components are designed to ensure our Scholars’ success. With support from Posse, Scholars excel at school, win competitive internships and earn prestigious awards. After graduation, many of our alumni are admitted to elite graduate programs and hired for top jobs. Posse scholars are referred by a school official in the spring, and the process involves application and multiple interviews. Ask your counselor for more information! |

Paulding Education Fund The Paulding Education Foundation, founded and incorporated in 2006, is a private, non-profit, 501c3 tax-exempt organization dedicated to promoting excellence in education in the Paulding County School District. Check this website for information on a number of scholarships available only to Paulding County High School students. Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta provides hundreds of scholarships each year to students through a variety of scholarship funds. To be competitive for our scholarships, you should carefully read the eligibility criteria for each scholarship to see which scholarships are the best fit for you and then begin an application in the Foundation’s Online Scholarship Portal. The Georgia District Civitan Foundation offers scholarships annually to Georgia high school seniors as follows:
December 2018 College Raptor Scholarship The application is available at www.CollegeRaptor.com/2500Scholarship December 2018 MRAC Delta Sigma Theta Scholarship African American senior girls with at least a 3.0 GPA can apply for this scholarship. Hillgrove students have won this in the past! March 1, 2019 GBAA Scholarship Seniors wishing to go into the fields of: Professional Flight, Aviation Maintenance, Aerospace Engineering, Air Traffic Control, Airport Management and Satellite Information Technology can apply for scholarships ranging from $2000 to $5000. April 12, 2019 The Community Bankers Association of Georgia (CBA) is pleased to announce the 2019 Julian & Jan Hester Memorial Scholarship. The goal of this scholarship is to assist deserving high school seniors in their first year of college and to promote community banking. To compete, students must be sponsored by a local community bank, must complete an activity record expressing their leadership activity in school, write a short essay on community banking, provide teacher recommendations and an official high school transcript. SunTrust Scholarship Starting in September students can enter online once during each entry period. Two $500 winners will be randomly chosen every 2 weeks May 24, 2019 “B. Davis Scholarship” This Scholarship ($1,000) is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution.
June 14, 2019 Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants will be awarding up to $1,000 to the winner(s) each year. Students will submit an essay on the topic that appears on the scholarship page of our web site. June 19, 2019 BigSun Scholarship The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. Their participation may be in any capacity, whether as a player, coach or official. The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.. October 6, 2019 AES Scholarship The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. This award is available to all students, regardless of their field of study. To be eligible the student needs to answer one of the essay questions that they will find on our site.We are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted. |
